The Academic Committee comprises of the Principal, Vice Principal and all the Heads of Department with one HOD as the secretary. The Committee looks into matters relating to the academic progression and evaluation. This Committee also function as the Scholarship Schemes Committee.


The Admission Committee includes all Heads of Department with Smt. P. Susngi as the convener. The Purpose of this Committee is to see into the smooth and transparent function of the admission process in the college.


The responsibility of the Annual Report Committee is to collect reports from the various Departments, Cells and Clubs in the college as a regular basis for necessary compilation.


With the primary objective of encouraging, facilitating as well as enhancing research activities in the college both among the faculty members as well as the student community, the Research Committee was constituted in the year 2015. The Research Committee also aims at initiating an Inter-Disciplinary Journal of the college which would act as a forum for the faculty and students to exhibit their research works and activities.


The Library Advisory Committee is a Committee that look into the proper functioning of the library. This Committee aim to achieve the goal of the library. It Supervises, monitor and evaluate the services provided by the library. The Committee comprises of the Principal, Librarian, Assistant Librarian and members of the teaching faculty.  


The Infrastructure Maintenance Committee was formed with the objectives of maintaining Cleanliness, security and providing the necessary facilities needed by the entire college.


The Thomas Jones Synod College has constituted an Examination Committee since its establishment in 1997. The core aim and objectives of the Examination Committee is to handle all Examinations ( External an Internal Examinations) of University conducted in the college and to ensure for the smooth conduction of Examinations according to the rules and norms of the University and the College.
